Perry Out

Not sure why he didn't wait until after SC at this point, but I don't think he was going to place anyway.  I've removed his unpledged Iowa delegate from my counts.

If you're gonna remove Perry from the tallies, Albert, then you need to take out Huntsman as well.

Nope.

The difference is that Perry's delegate (and Bachmann's delegate) came from Iowa, where delegates are unbound. With him out of the race, those delegates will vote for someone else.

Huntsman's 2 delegates, on the other hand, came from N.H., where delegates are bound. They are required to vote for Huntsman on at least the first ballot, regardless of the fact that he dropped out of the race.

Some states release delegates if the candidate drops out (e.g., Alaska), but N.H. has no such rule.
